Your online security is our priority

Oklahoma's Credit Union (OKCU) is committed to making available financial products and services that will enable you to meet your financial needs and reach your financial goals. Protecting personal information and using it in a manner consistent with your expectations is a high priority for everyone associated with our credit union. 

OKCU will protect the confidentiality, security and integrity of each members' nonpublic personal information consistent with state and federal laws. Careful and reasonable measures to protect the accuracy and privacy of all member information will be used at all times. OKCU will collect only the personal information that is necessary to conduct our business and deliver superior service to our members.

OKCU employees, officers, directors, and committee members are required to hold in confidence all Credit Union transactions with members and all information in regard to members’ personal business. We educate our employees about the importance of confidentiality and member privacy through standard operating procedures, special training programs, and our policies on ethics. We take appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce employee privacy responsibilities.

OKCU will provide an initial Privacy Notice to each member upon opening an account. This will be given with the opening disclosures as required by law. An annual notice will also be provided to all members once during each calendar year. If there are any changes made to the Privacy Policy statement, a copy will be provided to each member at that time. View our privacy notice.

OKCU will not disclose information about your accounts or other personally identifiable data to third parties unless: (1) you request or authorize it; (2) the information is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by you; (3) the information is provided to a reputable credit bureau or similar information reporting agency as permitted by law; (4) the information is permitted by court order or applicable laws or regulations.

OKCU does not sell or provide personal information to third parties for independent use such as telemarketing or direct mail marketing of any nonfinancial products or services. We may share information with our Credit Union affiliates, for example Members Financial Services, Inc., as allowed by federal law, if that information is required to provide or offer a product or service that may be of value to you.

If you enroll in Digital Banking and choose to use Zelle®, Zelle®  collects your contact list information to allow you to send payments to contacts within your device.

To assist us in offering you services, we may occasionally share information with companies that work for us, such as check-printing and data processing companies or a statement mailing house. These companies act on our behalf and are obligated to keep the information that we provide to them confidential and to conform to our privacy standards. All above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

OKCU maintains security standards and procedures to help prevent unauthorized access to confidential information about you. We update and test our technology to improve the protection of our information about you and to assure the integrity of our information. We actively seek to verify the identity of our members through the use of passwords or other information before assisting them.

OKCU is committed to online security and privacy through our website and our online banking services. OKCU uses at least 128-bit SSL strong encryption during your online sessions to safeguard your data. However, regular non-encrypted internet e-mail is not secure. Private information should not be sent through regular, unsecure email systems.

OKCU contracts with companies to deliver online advertisements on other websites and on other applications. These companies use third-party cookies, website scripting and a technology called an "Action Tag," to collect anonymous information about visitors to our sites (for example, to learn which online ads attracted visitors). These third-party cookies help us analyze our website and the effectiveness of our marketing. These cookies do not contain personally identifiable information about you.
